This documentation presents photographs taken of the interior and exterior of the Rockland County Jail in New City, New York. Constructed in 1923, the building is scheduled for demolition in 1999 and the site will be used for an addition to the Rockland County Courthouse.
All views were photographed by Scott Demel and Richard Pieper in July and August of 1998. All photographs were taken with the equipment of Mr. Pieper: a Horseman 4"x5" camera with Schneider 65mm, 90mm and 120mm Super Angulon lenses. Views were photographed on Kodak Tri-X film and processed with Edwal FG-7.
